George West ISD & Three Rivers ISD students and teacher (Adriana
Mendez)
participate in CBTN's first Spanish III Distance Learning class.
George West ISD provided lunch to Spanish III students from both campuses
(GWISD & TRISD). Three Rivers students traveled to George West to
meet
their teacher and other students in person.
Adriana Mendez teaches her students at George West while Three Rivers

Taft ISD Distance Learning Students
Odem ISD Distance Learning Students
Distance learning has come to Taft and Odem-Edroy ISD. Three seniors from
each district are enrolled in an English class that will give them credit for
both high school senior English and college Freshman English. Both
districts will share a teacher, Mr. R. Olivarez. Olivarez said, "This
has taxed every bit of my organizational skills. It is the hardest thing I have
done in a classroom, but so far it has been very rewarding and most
enjoyable."
